Rotoflex enjoyed a strong presence at Labelexpo Europe, held this week in Brussels, Belgium. With the launch of the newly redesigned VLI for film and flexible packaging, and the introduction of an upgraded URC 2.0 control system, visitors learned that Rotoflex is as strong as ever.  The level of technology available from Rotoflex led to several sales on the show floor, many pending sales and the attraction of many new customers.

The fully redesigned Rotoflex VLI, made its debut for the first time in Europe. It is a highly precise film and packaging rewinder available in widths up to 28.25 inch (700mm). The model has been configured to provide more advanced, tension-specific applications and higher speed production. Featuring a large easy-access touch screen display as well as well-placed auxiliary controls, the VLI offers an exceptional operator friendly experience, flawlessly finishing a variety of applications and substrates.

The URC 2.0 is the other top new technology from Rotoflex. Found on the new VLI and most other Rotoflex models, this robust upgrade to the control system boasts easy-to-use operator interface that delivers unmatched defect detection and automatic sensor calibration, all which significantly increase product quality and workflow productivity. Rotoflex machines also include eDrive, a Rotoflex exclusive web handling system which provides faster acceleration and deceleration with maximum control and runs high-quality production at speeds up to 950 fpm (290 m/min).
